European Cultural Trend Brand of the Year: Kulturzug Berlin - Wroclaw

The jury's evaluation: The Kulturzug Berlin - Wroclaw (culture train Berlin - Wroclaw) adopted an entirely different approach, completely avoiding the use of digital media. The clear profile and intercultural orientation were considered to be key facets of the project's exemplary character. Since April 2016, the Kulturzug has provided a link between the two cities, thus serving as a European connection between Germany and Poland. In the view of the jury, the bilingual cultural and educational programme offers young and old alike a new means of accessing culture in a mobile yet analogue manner.
