Openness and curiosity with regard to the tangible environment are fundamental characteristic features that can inspire cultural education by developing aesthetic perception. An essential element of this process is examining one's own environment and social issues, which is also of fundamental importance when cultivating the key competencies that are required to understand and reflect upon changes, and to co-shape these changes. Social issues are considered from an aesthetic point of view and mirrored in a form that allows them to be experienced with all the senses. Contemporary formats are interdisciplinary and are influenced by several areas of society such as culture, education and social issues. Cultural education is an investment in the future for a society's culture, business and politics, since it has long been proven that cultural education can achieve far more than promoting an artistic vein. Which challenges result from this realisation, and what potential does cultural education have for a sustainable society?
Participants at the leading forum for cultural providers and cultural sponsors can expect exciting keynote speeches from cultural experts, lively discussion rounds, and some practical examples of success in the following concurrently-conducted forums: Transformation, Capital city of Culture, Cultural Buildings, Cultural Tourism, Cultural Education, Industrial Culture, Cultural Sponsoring, Cultural Brands, Urban Culture and Digitalisation, and in the emotional closing forum, Conducting & Leading. The central theme in all the forums at the 10th CultureInvest! Congress is positive interaction between aesthetics and efficiency.
