The building of the Kunsthalle used to be the heating center or the heat transfer station (tubular heat exchanger) for the central heating plant. The art hall and heating center have been available to the cultural and creative industries since August 2017. The event hall is of particular importance with various possible uses. The property is being refurbished with a low threshold especially for the creative industries. The energy center for the state operetta and tjg is located in the basement.
