The Karneval der Kulturen, the most important reflection of the multicultural metropolis of Berlin offered an interesting stage for representatives from business, culture, politics and the media to come to speak, while attendees enjoyed a refreshing beverage.
It was the hottest Whitsuntide in more than 50 years and yet on Whitsunday, 8 June, the Causales Business Club and the Carnival of Cultures were able to welcome more than 250 invited guests onto their VIP stand.

In the group were, among others were: Wolfgang Thierse, President of the Federal Parliament; Claudia Roth, Member of the Federal Parliament; Tim Renner, Secretary of State for Culture in Berlin; Regina Richter, Berlin Savings Bank, Sebastian Schwarzenberger of Dussmann Group; Frank Hörl of Mövenpick Hotels, Frank Gessner of Ströer Group, Mihai Danske of Mediaservice, and Franziska Zauleck, Peix Pharma and Tobias Fröhlich, all from Axel-Springer SE.
Additional information: With about 1.35 million visitors and over 5,800 actors, the Karneval der Kulturen is a celebration with which Berlin presents itself as a European metropolis. The 4-day long street festival from Friday to Monday and the big parade on Whitsunday are part of the biggest Summer Carnival celebrations in all of Europe.
Whether Brazilian samba, urban beats or angels on stilts — for the more than 750,000 visitors on the 4-kilometer long stretch, the parade with more than 80 groups represented a unique transcultural spectacle.
