26. November 2020, Waschhaus, 2 pm -5 pm
Rural areas and their cultural potential are experiencing an upswing, which is linked to the increasing
participation of citizens and cultural actors. The shaping of cultural life in rural regions and the structural
change that goes hand in hand with it leads to an enormous upgrading of locations away from the
metropolises. The "Lausitz Cultural Plan", which is being put out to tender throughout Europe by the State of
Brandenburg, is intended to create a strategic foundation and long-term strategy for the cultural region of
Lausitz with the help of competent cooperation. In the workshop, tools will be worked out how organizational
structures and concrete, forward-looking concepts for the rural cultural region of the future can succeed in
cooperation with partners from cultural management and creative industries.
