H. TICKETING & CUSTOMER RELATIONS

26 November 2020, 2 pm - 5 pm

Climate-neutral ticket purchases for an emission-free event experience clearly correspond to the spirit of the times and enable events and visitors to make a contribution to environmentally conscious action in event management as well. Green ticketing solutions promise to offset arrivals and departures and the resulting CO2 emissions and thus making the event climate-neutral. At the same time, the production of print products that advertise and inform about events will gradually decrease and make way for digital solutions. Will print in the event sector give way in future to completely digital green marketing strategies? In addition, the focus is increasingly on concepts that propel the digital transformation of customer relationships. Cultural businesses will be dealing with changing customer groups that are shaped by sustainable consumer behaviour and will hardly be accessible without an appropriate commitment.

Trends in European ticketing - What are the learnings from Covid19

Dr. Klaus Zemke
Ticketmaster Germany, General Manager

In March this year arts and entertainment suffered an unprecedented break at the interface between themselves and their patrons. Box Offices quickly became points of contact for refunds, acquisition of donation, rebooking and the processing of state-approved voucher schemes. The unexpected workload uncovered weaknesses in processes and organization. At the same time, many organisations were able to engage in a more intensive dialogue with their customers. We want to illustrate what organizers and ticketers want to change and improve in the future, and what the paying audience expects and can expect from us.
