In the international context, the concept of sustainability tends to be perceived more strongly today as a parameter of the global economy. However, the fact that this is not merely an alternative route to economic growth is particularly evident in a newly discovered awareness of the need to ensure European cohesion through environmental protection. It is an opportunity to reflect on a collective present and future. Management experts, cultural and environmental organisations and think tanks are dedicated to the questions of how sustainable and creative future perspectives can be shaped and how the concept of social responsibility can be brought into focus through the proper management of public resources. What does the management concept of tomorrow look like? Sustainability can provide the framework for reshaping cultural policy and rethinking cultural management methods.
