"Communication is based on media. Media are changing, hence cultural management needs to evolve. "
Prof. Dr. Lorenz Pöllmann, Hochschule für Kultur, Medien und Wirtschaft
How can the digital universe be used efficiently within an orchestrated marketing event strategy for cultural providers? Is digital cultural communication replacing our conventional communication channels? Digital strategies and tools have increasingly become an integral part of the communication of cultural institutions and are especially used to increase awareness of their brand names and images. The advantages of online marketing are obvious. Complex marketing strategies can be implemented at relatively low cost, and relationships with new audiences can be established and deepened worldwide. In addition, social media tools can be used to spread your presence to different platforms and to target your own message. In addition to being able to attract sponsorships, fundraising or partners, social media tools are increasingly being used within complex digital strategies.
