"The truth is not what A says, but what B understands."
Paul Watzlawick
Two bankers meet with each other. What do they talk about? About art and culture. Two people from the cultural sector meet up with each other. What do they talk about? About money. At Bayer Kulturlabor, company representatives talk to artists and cultural providers about money, art, and culture. This format, which is unconventional for KulturInvest-Kongress, allows participants to directly engage such subjects as art and culture as constituent parts of corporate culture, artistic intervention as a motivator for change within companies, and the motivations for promoting culture in companies. After allowing for participants to briefly introduce themselves, this lively discussion forum will proceed to deal with the following questions: What can culture learn from the economy - and vice versa? What type of cooperation are young creators pursuing today? What can businesses learn from culture? What initiatives have ensued? What common ideas and visions can be realized?
The following are some speakers and discussants:
- _Hans-Dietrich Reckhaus, Geschäftsführer Reckhaus & Co.
- _Günter Jeschonnek, Kulturmanager, Autor, Regisseur
- _Wolfgang Weikert, Arts4business
- _Lena Mäusezahl, ehem. Leiterin des Projektes "Künstlerische Intervention im Unternehmen"
- _Referent des Forum für Kultur und Ökonomie
