The jury's reasoning: Activities involving art and culture are an integral part of Würth's corporate culture: the Würth collection has been extended and expanded for over 50 years. The jury especially praised the wide range of sponsorships and the strong personal commitment of Professor Reinhold Würth and his daughter Bettina. The jury was also impressed by the European orientation of the Würth Foundation and its focus on sustainability and thus the preservation of art and culture for future generations.
